At present, as public health needs continue to upgrade, challenges remain in the accessibility of innovative drugs, payment guarantees, and the synergy of disease management both inside and outside hospitals. This collaboration aims to integrate the superior resources of both parties, promote closer alignment among medical services, pharmaceutical innovation, and payment guarantees, and provide users with higher-quality and more sustainable health management solutions.

In terms of the "pharma-insurance commercial closed loop," the two parties will focus on key disease areas to explore single-disease insurance product innovations. They will promote the pioneering rollout of select Pfizer innovative drugs through the Ping An Good Doctor’s platform and explore incorporating them into corporate health management and employee benefit scenarios. By integrating drugs, insurance, and user service resources, they aim to improve the accessibility of innovative medical solutions and alleviate the burden on patients.

In terms of the "pharma-patient whole-course management closed loop," the two parties will leverage Pfizer's professional expertise in innovative drugs and disease management, alongside Ping An Good Doctor's advantages in AI medical technology, online healthcare, and health management services. Together, they will build a full-cycle service system covering disease screening, patient education, standardized diagnosis and treatment, precise medication, and long-term follow-up, continuously enhancing user experience and health outcomes.

Reportedly, the two parties will also continue to explore collaboration in areas such as oncology, rare diseases, vaccines, and metabolic health. Through initiatives including innovative payment support, disease education, and digital management, they will continuously improve users' disease awareness, standardize diagnosis and treatment, and elevate long-term health management levels. Notably, in the field of metabolic health and weight management, the two parties will combine digital health management capabilities to explore a service model covering risk assessment, standardized diagnosis and treatment, and long-term follow-up, assisting the public in establishing scientific weight management concepts.

Michael Guo, Co-CEO of Ping An Group and Chairman of Ping An Good Doctor, stated that Ping An has long adhered to the "integrated finance + health and senior care" strategic layout, continuously exploring paths for the deep integration of the medical, pharmaceutical, and insurance industries. Looking ahead, the Group will provide full-spectrum support to ensure the dual closed-loop model takes root, helping high-quality global innovative drugs benefit the broader domestic population. At the same time, it will leverage intelligence to optimize the full-cycle health management system, fulfill the mission of building a Healthy China, and provide the industry with high-value, comprehensive medical and health solutions.

He Mingke, CEO of Ping An Good Doctor, noted that the deep integration of medical care, pharmaceuticals, and insurance is a core development direction for online healthcare. This collaboration with Pfizer further validates Ping An's unique capability to implement its pharmaceutical cooperation paradigm. Moving forward, the Company will continue to extend this replicable and scalable dual closed-loop system, empowering more leading pharmaceutical enterprises and upgrading full-cycle health services for the public.

Jean-Christophe Pointeau, Global Senior Vice President of Pfizer and President of Pfizer China, said: "The significance of innovative drugs goes beyond breaking scientific boundaries; it is more about helping patients gain better treatment opportunities and a healthier future. This deep collaboration with Ping An Good Doctor is an important step for Pfizer to actively advance the 'Healthy China 2030' strategy and continuously enhance the accessibility of innovative medical solutions. We look forward to complementing each other's strengths and jointly exploring a new model that combines innovative payment with whole-course disease management, allowing more Chinese patients to benefit from cutting-edge medical innovations."

Industry insiders believe that this partnership breaks through the traditional single-point cooperation model. By utilizing a "dual closed-loop" model to drive the deep integration of innovative drugs, medical services, and payment systems, it achieves a synergistic enhancement of industry and patient value, pioneering a new path for the digital integration and development of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
