Practicing High-Quality Workplace Health Management: Ping An Contributes to the National Major Chronic Disease Prevention Conference to Shape a New Industry Landscape

The “National Pilot Project for Innovation and Integration in the Prevention and Control of Major Chronic Diseases” and the 2025 National Exchange Conference on the “High-Quality Workplace Health Management Pilot Initiative” were held in Beijing from 11 to 12 December, under the theme “Implementing the Health-First Strategy, Sharing Responsibility for Health Management”. Representatives from government, enterprises, academia and research institutions gathered for multi-dimensional and in-depth discussions on turning health management policies into action and upgrading industry practices.

Mr. Huang Baoxin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Ping An Group; Mr. Cao Jingzhi, Manager of Group Corporate Health Insurance Business at the Headquarters of Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance Company of China,Ltd.; and Mr. Su Dong, Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Ping An Healthcare and Technology Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Ping An Good Doctor”) were invited to attend the conference.

From Theory to Practice: Expert Perspectives Anchoring the Future of Health Management

Keynote speakers included Mr. Wang Jiandong, Deputy Director of the Occupational Health Department and First level Inspector of the National Health Commission, and Mr. Wang Jian, Vice President of the Chinese Medical Association, shared insights on policy guidance and industry trends.
Mr. Chen Runsheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Mr. Fang Jiancheng presented on cutting-edge technologies, attracting wide attention.

On the practical side, Professor Wang Zhanshan, Secretary-General of the Management Committee of the National Pilot Project for Innovation and Integration in the Prevention and Control of Major Chronic Diseases and concurrently Secretary-General of the Working Committee for the High-Quality Workplace Health Management Pilot Initiative, outlined experiences and results in promoting pilot project and stressed that businesses should embed health management into their development strategies to build scalable health management paradigm.

Officials including Mr. Shen Hongbing, Deputy Director of the National Health Commission, endorsed the progress made by participating pilots. Representatives from pilot units and enterprises in various regions took turns to share their experience on health promotion, health priority and health innovation.

At the conference, the list of the first batch of High-Quality Pilot Units of Workplace Health Management was announced.
